Photography Places of A Dream in Red Mansions

A Dream in Red Mansions (in Chinese, Hong Lou Meng) is one of Chinese four masterpieces of literature finished in the Qing Dynasty, it is regarded the best in terms of literature value. Since the shooting of TV series in 1987, this masterpiece has attracted increasing number of fans. This TV series edition is classic, which can hardly be surpassed, the characters like Lin Daiyu, Jia Baoyu, Xue Baochai, Wang Xifeng, etc. acted by Lin Xiaoxu, Ouyang Fenqiang, Zhang Li, Deng Jie, etc, has already won national-wide acceptance.

Despite of the wonderful acting skills and exquisite clothes, background music and sceneries in this TV series can also hardly be exceeded. The photography places cover lots of scenic spots, for instance, "Rongguo House" and "Ningrong street" are most set in Zhengding, Hebei Province, some of the indoor scenes are shooted at photostudio in Beijing; Prospect Garden blend the views of Prospect Gardens in both North and South China, while some of the scenes are taken from classical gardens in South China.
